The TV receiver has two independent service modes: Mode I and Mode II.
In service mode I it is possible to adjust the image geometry, grid 2 tension, white balance, as well as tuning to subcarrier frequency of color. Regulations related to color decoding (balance and subcarrier frequency) carried out independently for the main image and the PIP image.
In service mode II, it is possible to select the frequency table (screen) of the canaries, appropriate for the one in force in country-specific broadcasting standard.
The type of adjustment being performed is indicated on two 7-segment lights.
Selected settings are automatically saved when exiting the service mode.
All activities related to service modes are carried out using a standard remote control, however
existing keys have been assigned new functions on the remote control. Their symbols (to which we will be reverse in the text) is shown in the figure below.
